Getting Started

From install to your first Handoff.

Meloft is a Windows desktop app. The current supported production setup is FL Studio projects with FL native and VST3 dependency evidence.

1. Install

Download the current production installer from Meloft's stable download route. The desktop updater verifies the official release signature before installing an update.

2. Complete first launch

Choose a Project Library folder or skip it for later
Run a Capability scan or defer it
Google sign-in is optional during setup

3. Register a Project Library root

Choose the folder explicitly. Meloft does not scan your home folder or drives automatically. The Library indexes supported project sources inside registered roots.

4. Check this device

Capability scans the FL Studio and VST3 evidence available on this device. Publishing is a separate user action and excludes local installation paths and credentials.

5. Run Project Doctor

Select a project and review project facts, dependency issues, and playback or portability risk. Analysis is read-only and does not rewrite the source project.

6. Sign in and Handoff

Use Google sign-in when you are ready to work with People or a temporary Handoff. Preview the recipient and compatibility evidence, prepare the package, then confirm the transfer.
