Project Doctor
Read the project before someone else has to open it.
Project Doctor is a local, read-only analysis of the evidence Meloft currently understands in an FL Studio project.
What it checks
- Project facts such as detected FL Studio version, timing facts, and event counts
- FL native and VST3 plugin dependency evidence; legacy VST2 remains Unknown
- Referenced samples, including missing or external dependencies where resolvable
- Supported Mixer inserts, ordered FX slots, and routing facts
- Playback and portability risk summaries backed by issue details
- Exact parse → serialize preservation evidence
What the risk means
Playback and portability risk are conservative summaries. They do not replace the plugin/sample manifest and do not guarantee that audio will sound identical on another system.
Source preservation
The diagnostic path is read-only. Meloft does not overwrite the selected FLP or relink its assets while running Project Doctor.
Current limits
- No automatic full Resolution
- No guarantee of plugin licensing, external resources, or perfect state restoration
- No VST2 support claim
- No support claim for macOS or other DAWs
